I fell in love alone

Though your face is one I will never know

Though it is my father's desire

To keep me so far from fire

The love burning in my heart

Like wildfire it needed only a spark

To extinguish this flame

I would have to forget your name

But the thought is too much to bear

Please just let me know you are there

I don't need a kiss

I just want for your happiness

If happiness is all you have known

I am glad to remain alone
